The epic lives in many tellings
Two TellingsOne Ramayana episode, side by side
Type how you heard one episode, and how another telling put it, a few short lines each. The page matches the moments, ties the two tellings together as palm leaves and calls them, for free: close kin, cousins or distant kin. No telling is ranked.
1 The two tellings free
Two to eight lines each, one moment per line, in the order the telling goes. Each second-telling line has a "same moment as" picker: leave it on auto to let the page match by shared words, or pick the line yourself.
2 The two leaves free
3 Ask for the moment notes
One run describes every moment from the two tellings' own words: told alike, told differently, or found in one telling only. The page's matches and verdict stay as they are.

How the page decides
Each line is one moment. Your own picks come first; every other second-telling line is matched to a first-telling line when the two share at least two words (with a Dice overlap of 0.25 or more), best overlap first, ties to the earlier lines. Each line joins at most one match.
The verdict, first match wins: no shared moment, or under a quarter of the moments shared - distant kin; 60% or more shared - close kin; otherwise - cousins. Names are the capitalised words each telling uses.
Every telling belongs to the story's long life, so the page compares wording and never says which telling is right, older or complete. It is a reading aid, not religious instruction. The page only sees what you type, so keep personal details out of it.
